The three numbers you enter — income, fixed expenses, and current savings — are calculated and stored locally in your browser. Nothing is sent to our servers before you choose to create an account. If you create one, those numbers and your lesson progress are saved to your account so they’re there when you return.
Finapert never asks for bank credentials and never connects to your bank or financial accounts. You type your numbers in yourself.
If you create an account, we store your email and authentication details through Supabase, our authentication and database provider. Transactional emails (confirmation, password reset, and an optional welcome email) are sent through Resend. We never sell your data.
We use privacy-conscious product analytics (PostHog) and Google Analytics to understand how the product is used in aggregate — which pages are visited and where people drop off. This never includes the financial numbers you enter.
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings, or by contacting us at finapert@gmail.com.
